OBSERVANCES 2007

The National Health Observances calendars are designed to assist you in planning your on-site health awareness campaigns.

There are key advantages to planning health awareness programmes around the National Health Observances. For example, the media often addresses health issues based on these observances. This means you pick up on the free publicity generated by television, radio and the print media — reinforcing your health message. (Research has shown that a person needs 18 to 21 exposures to a message before this message is absorbed!)
